Notes:
No modem will be installed under Device manager or in Control Panel Phone and Modems. This is normal.

No Windows TAPI modem driver is available. This is a UIP device. UIP commands must be sent direct from application to the MTCMR-x.

The MTCMR-X devices can be communicated with via USB port or RS232 port, but not both ports at same time.

If switching from USB connection to serial connection, you must unplug the USB cable before you can communicate on the serial cable.

Current product user guide and IP command guide is available online http://www.multitech.com/en_US/DOCUMENTS/Families/MultiModemiCell/manuals.aspx

MTCMR-G and MTCMR-H with earlier versions of UIP were not originally released with USB port active. If your device has UIP firmware versions prior to .21M please contact Multitech support for updated firmware release. Command AT#VVERSION will indicate firmware Major version number and the minor version letter will appear in the line at the end of the response

Example
AT#VVERSION
#VVERSION: VERSION 0.21 xxxxxxxxx M

This response indicates version .21M
